Looking for a new/nos “B28” vacuum advance can. These were listed under several different part numbers, most commonly known is the VC1810.
Pic for reference. Thanks! |

Tim, thank you for the info. I went ahead and ordered one. I ordered a WVE 4V1053 from RockAuto, which they lost as a replacement for a B28 and it does not fully deploy until 13hg.
What part number did you purchase from RockAuto? |

This Solved my Idle problems per the Tech paper above.
I selected the (B28) since it Met the "Rule of 2" Installed today and tested collected tuning data. Because of my Howards Cam MECHANICAL FLAT TAPPET AMERICAN MUSCLE CAMSHAFT; 1965 - 1996 CHEVY 396-502 (MARK IV) 1800 TO 6500 HOWARDS CAMS 127192-14 I was getting Poor Vac signal at idle in combination with a sedate vac can (B1 from a L35) caused VERY poor idle in Drive. B28 Solved this concern, Runs Great on Full manifold Vac signal taken by "T" off the choke pull off pot hose. |
