10K Would probably buy it.

Another Green / Green car from back in the day. It blows my mind how many Green / Green cars were made in the late 60's to the early 70'. Has to have something to do with returning Vietnam vets and their green uniforms. That's just my guess. But what do I know?

After the first Earth Day in 1970,made a lot of Car makers push "new" warmed over earth tone colors too.

My guess on the returning Nam Vets is that the last thing they would want to be reminded of was their uniforms. Don't forget how poorly so many of them were treated upon their return :(
Harvest Gold, Coppertone, and Avocado Green were the popular appliance colors back then so earth tones were definitely in fashion. |
For 30K I would much rather have this Nevada Silver 71 Monte with 98% original paint. This thing is kick ass nice. Listed on FB All Chevy Page

Thank You for your service! |
I know where there is a nice survivor 71 that I am pretty sure is a big block. Blue factory paint, I dont remember if it had ac. Automatic. What kind of price ranges are these worth for a mint one?

Even this deal, which seems like a good deal, would probably be a losing proposition to restore (if you restored it for selling). /R |
IF I could go see this in person (meaning within 3 hr drive) I would probably own this. Do a make over but not resto on it and use this as a nice driver for my wife.
