'69 Chevelle L78/4-sp Survivor
Not cheap, but desirable colors and looks pretty clean. If that's the original paint as the seller claims, I'm impressed.

Nice car. After seeing what clones, frauds and resto-mods have been selling for the past several years, the price doesn't seem out of line for a survivor at all.
|
This one speaks to me... If it were a '67 I'd be all over it!!
|
Beautiful high-perf car. It has a few minor question marks, but overall a big thumbs up.
|
Wow, very nice. That car has been well loved.

Looks legit as far as a Survivor. Great color.
This one would be exiting to verify the entire Powertrain, but with that mileage I’m sure it’s factory correct. Markings on the firewall, brake booster, booster hose paper label and that worn air cleaner sticker …… Yes. I would just dust off that engine bay and enjoy. Love this car! |
Super cool!!
|
I could see lots of quality time with Evaporust, soap, water, tunes, and :beers:
|

Very cool...checks all the boxes.

I called on this. He only takes cash. No wire,no checks,no money orders. Just CASH! Imagine the look on the tellers face when you ask for all cash. I took $8k cash last week and the teller had to ask me what I was doing with it. A friend of mine took $14K out of the bank one day to buy a car. He went to see the car and didn't buy it so, the next day he went to redeposit it and they had him fill out a form where the money came from. Crazy world we live in.
|
i dont blame him, too many scammers out there, is anything besides cash safe?,wire transfer should still be ok, i have never had to fill out any papers when withdrawing cash??

Mother IRS uses the banks to keep track of large cash transactions. They report anything moved over the $10,000 mark weather your a well known reputable customer or drug dealer. No way around it. When the bank gets audited this information automatically goes to the auditor, if they don’t report it to them first.
|
I was audited once, when I asked the guy what caused the audit he told me they wanted to know what I wanted to do with 18k cash. I told him it wasn't 18k it was 9 out and 9 back in. BTW, I did tell him it wasn't any of his business what I wanted it for. Don't think he cared...

A couple of years ago I go in to a teller to withdraw $9800. out of my savings because 10K is a no no. So all the tellers there know me, but she says hold on Sir, I need to get the manager. The manager wants to know what I’m doing with such a large sum of money. Now I’m starting to boil inside and I tell her I’m buying drugs and it’s none of her damn business. Plus I threaten to close all my accounts and take my money elsewhere. You should have seen the look on her face. Sorry Mr. Terry, how do you want “your” cash. I fumed for days over that. Sorry for the vent. I guess I’m still fuming from that day. 🙄 |
Don’t forget there’s a number of places with search and seizure laws that let the police keep your confiscated cash for just suspecting its ill-gotten. Since they get to keep the money sometimes they don’t try very hard to prove otherwise. On the other hand, I don’t mind a concerned bank manager asking about elderly or vulnerable people withdrawing money on a potential scam. Hell I had a call that had me running around trying to buy Visa gift cards (don’t ask) to somehow deal with a fake legal problem. The scammer was smooth enough it took the questioning of a cashier (“are you sure this is real”) to snap me out of it.

Yep, the IRS has been weaponized to use against we the people. Been down the road of withdrawals and make them in small enough increments to avoid the paperwork. Any questions asked get a blank face and a polite "no ones business but mine, it's MY money, not the banks".
Just handed the teller at my bank 30 $50 bills today. I expected some sort of question about that, but after the previous conversation we had about "we don't use deposit slips anymore", I guess she knew better than to ask... |
I once carried $15 K across the border to purchase a car. AFTER all the drama (and there was LOTS), The border agent says "now I have to go wash the cocaine off my hands. That much money always has cocaine on it".
Yeesh.... and they weren't even nice enough to tell us the highway was washed out an hour south.... 7 hour delay ! |
$95K cash lmao. Boomer.
|
That car will never sell with those ridiculous terms.
