Contact for whoever is authenticating Motion cars
I have a car I’d like to have authenticated as a Motion conversion.
I understand Joel isn’t doing it anymore. Anyone know who took over? Thanks |
So if you think you have a Baldwin Motion car or a Motion conversion forget about authentication?
Nobody knows who has taken over from Joel? |
Post photos of what you think might make it a Motion car or you can pm me the photos if you do not want it posted publicly. For the record I do not have the paperwork nor do I know who owns it now but I do know Joel no longer owns what paperwork he did have.

Documenting baldwin-Motion & Motion cars
All of Joel Rosen's records of Motion car builds and Baldwin-Motion vehicles are now owned, along with his Gen V Baldwin-Motion Camaro, by Kasey Alford and can be contacted at

Thank you Martyn!
I just recently purchased and read your Motion history book. Good stuff! The car is NOT a Phase 3 car or a Baldwin car. It’s a Motion conversion car. I’m currently on the east coast to assess the car tomorrow. I’ll be starting a thread on the car soon with lots of pictures. |

More info will be forthcoming in regards to pricing for research on cars. I plan to offer two options with one being similar to how Joel did it with an all-inclusive price. There will be a second option with much less paid up front but more on the backend if it checks out to be a BM/Motion car. I am so thankful to Joel for trusting in me to carry the torch and his wife Judith, as well as Marty. And thank you to Steve Shauger for speaking with me as well and for this site. It really is a great group on here. |
Thanks Kasey for the info!
My 1969 L89 Corvette was apparently a Motion conversion. Do your records consist of any conversions or just Baldwin Motion cars? Feel free to PM me if that’s better. Thanks, Joe |
PM sent, Joe. Thank you

Thank you very much, Jim. You're always a class act. Hope to see you in a few months!

Kasey is a very honest and straight forward person! He only wants what is best for the hobby we all love. I am happy to see those records go to him. He can be trusted to do the right thing.

It's also worth noting without my good friends Chris Clark and Greg (Nuge) Nugent then none of this would have likely happened. I'll never forget our trip to Joel's, not having much of any idea what he actually had before we got there, and all the crazy stuff that happened! |
I have to corroborate the above and share that in my dealings with Kasey, he acted like a true hobbyist and enthusiast. I know he is the right person to carry the legacy for Joel's documentation and others!

High praise, Dan. You’ve been well respected on this site for many years. Thanks again
