Subject VIN 136370R211578
Others can comment on BS authenticity etc but VIN definitely an LS6 car new.
Here’s a 03/71 Central Chev Ad below for subject w/ 2000 Miles on it, was it a Demo or traded back in w/ low mileage, note last six in Ad.
:beers:

Yep, crazy enough but there it is w/ 450 HP also 211578 both noted in Central Chev Ad.
I’m not but if someone here registered on BAT wants to forward Ad to Seller, here’s the whole page below also Ad without yellow enhancement as it may help w/ sale if still able to add to BAT listing?:dunno:

How can we be certain that those last numbers in the ad are for the VIN? I've spent most of my adult life in a car dealership and the numbers listed in ads like that are typically the dealer stock number. Sometimes dealers use the last of the vin as a stock number but when they do, they do it for all of their units. Seeing the other cars listed in that ad, those don't look like VIN digits for those units.

I agree with the other cars but that’s the vin for the chevelle.

Again, crazy all is right there so simply in the Ad but being we know Central Chevrolet Delivered an LS6 4-Spd. w/ said VIN, chances the 6 digits represent anything otherwise seems very unlikely?:hmmm::dunno:

Definitely the last 6 of the VIN, very common to see inventory designated that way in vintage newspaper ads.

very nice chevelle for all I know about chevelles. Which is not much but super nice floors

BAT Auction ended w/ No Sale & Bids @ $94,500.
The ‘71 Newspaper Ad is great support for the LS6 pedigree also it looks like a decent car so no surprise it didn’t go for under 100.
