3.5” Collector Purple Hornies
 

I’m looking for a used or NOS old set of Purple Hornies for my gasser. I’m using a set of Hooker Headers with the 3.5” 3 bolt connector.

If you find 2 sets of them, I'd be interested in the second set. I have the new flo tec ones on my 55 chevy and they sound good but nothing like the old cyclone 4" ones. I had them on a 70Z in the 70's. Larry

You probably have to be added to Chevrolet engines & engine parts for sale on Facebook.

I joined and sent a message to the seller for contact info for you... he's in Dothan AL. He used them to run an engine on a test stand and claims they are like new.

How do you tell if they are older. I have 2 sets

On the older ones, that tubing is the same size all the way down. New style has a step down as pictured earlier....Joe

Hey all, still on the hunt for an original pair of 3.5” collector purple hornies, would also consider original Hookermufflers or another funky pair of header mufflers for a 3.5” collector. Thanks.
