Firestone Wide Oval tires can tell by location of the red or white stripe

You think those might be coming out of Los Angeles since that's some of the area of Southern Pacific Railroad?.....Joe

"Next Load ANY-ROAD" as in any Available empty Road Name (i.e. Railroad). There was a somewhat of an Obligation to Load any Foreign Road MT's to produce a mileage Billable lading vice returning it EMPTY to the Home (i.e. Owning Road) Imports from Long Beach (Eastbound) to Midwest and Domestics from Midwest to Westcoast, Money Money Both Directions. I thought we had a cool thread on Railcar loaded with "Muscle Cars-ish" Jim |

Thanks for all the information on 1967 Firebirds. I did not know that. Never really followed them. The only Firebird I ever owned was a 1969-1/2 Tran Am....Joe

^^ Could the marketing Firestone Guy be thinking of the Racing Oval Tracks,
just a random thought, we would need to look at some vintage ad prints , but I like your ironic thinking,,,,he he he |
Something to note is how few have a rally wheel. Ratio of steel/ hub cap wheels to Rally is probably about right for the year…
