1974 pontiac sd 455

just out of curiousity do you think that these cars are considered super car worthy, they are very rare at 212 production figures with a 4 spd,and what is a mint restored sd worth with gm of canada docs???

A supercar I'm sure but not a SUPERCAR if you know what I mean. Sounds like a cool car.

Johnny... They are very cool cars. 73 and 74 only. 74's seem to be in the 30K plus range. 73's are a bunch more. Most people want the 73 front end over the 74.

Hey Charley, any progress updates on that '73 of yours with the much-sought-after front end?

i was just reading in hemmings there is a 74 white with 29000 miles for 39900,i was just wondering if these cars will ever skyrocket in price?i think anything produced after 72 will never be worth as much as the 60`s and early 70`s.most feel the performance rage was over!!!

For those who don't have much knowledge of these cars, I suggest further study into the technical attributes and development that went into the design of this rare powerplant. For a low compression, cast iron intake, Q-jet carbureted, hydraulic cammed engine; the SD t/a would run with the best of the cars of the high compression era.

Good God! You should send that pic to HRM and tell them that your taking their old "Caddy Hack" project to heart w/ an original SD. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif
