Nostalgic Openhouse

Nostalgic Autobody had it's first openhouse yesterday (21st), where I'm having my 70 Chevelle painted. Some nice cars showed up. This 65 GTO was found already set-up like this, then freshened.

The owners' 70 Chevelle convertible custom nearing completion. The deep burgundy paint on this is awesome!

Alterego of Ken's 66 Biscayne. This car is one bad sounding ride. 540 with a Procharger, aluminum block and heads. Belongs to the owner of Midwest Muscle Cars in Lake Zurich. Great guy, cool car.

Another 70 Chevelle convertible in process there. Like the other one, this is a custom color (Dark Blue) mixed up by Kevin.

Did they add that GTO hoodscoop to the 2+2? It looks really neat, like an extra-large size GTO

I saw some of the weather reports showing the HEAT out west. I would imagine the car cruises to be smaller because of it.
Luckily we had no rain here, as it seems there's rain in the forecast almost every day lately. Nothing like what Iowa is seeing, but still a lot of high water in our area.

We were discussing that too. The owner wasn't around to ask, but I think you're right that the scoop was added and looks like it belongs there.
