'68 442 Convertible, #s 400/3-sp Stick, Docs
Sounds like the original owner owned this one until a couple of years ago. Worthless description and pictures, but there's enough info here that I'd be reaching out to the seller if I were in the market. Sounds like a really nice, well kept car, with the exception of that parts-store master cylinder which is triggering my OCD....

Is that a factory color on those cars, or is it another example of the ubiquitous "resale red"?
|
My guess is resale red.

Agreed, or the white balance is out of whack!

I have to check the VIN... this could be my former 442 which I purchased from the original owner. Sold it because a Vette became available I had been chasing. It was a red/black (original green/black) 3 speed manual convertible. The guy I sold it to fluffed the engine compartment and sold it months later.

Listed here. Beware. New Ebayer, and the pictures don't look like any place I have ever seen in St.Paul, mn |

It's an excellent driver (at least it was at the time when we owned it). Not the original colors and some other upgrades I recall that the original owners family wanted to make while the car was in "restoration". Hope the next buyer does their research and the seller is honest. Best, Dave |

Here's a pic of the car circa 1968 with the original owners.

Dave-that's cool! Congrats on YOUR recent marriage, too! :beers:

Love the lettering on the side of the car in the 1968 picture :naughty:
