What car are you using them on, for show or driving
|
F70-15 appears to be a Corvette tire, maybe others. You can get those through Rusty Small (Small hurst). He is direct with Kelsey Tire Company...Joe

I bought a set from Rusty last year

Thanks guys
I just want to go with a more original look. I was at Carlisle last week and talked to the people at Coker and Universal. I really like the Firestone Radial but don’t think I like the looks of them On a 69 Camaro, just not the right Look to me. This will be just a local driver to go to breakfast or maybe a local drive-in. Might of found a set I’m going to look at today. Thanks again,Joe |

Joe, I hope it works out for you, let us know how the F70/15 Polyglass tires drive? I have a set of the Goodyear Speedway E70/15 repos (which are not belted like the polyglas ) and they are too scary to drive on, I took them off as they dart around and follow any ruts on road. I have 2 sets of YH dated wheels, all straightened and restored, the E70/15 are balanced perfect but brutal driving on. I took them off and put my 25 yr old Eagle GT radials back on, they are a little out of round but drive OK. |

What you may give up in a bit of authenticity (the look) is more than worth the way they drive. I have a set of the Coker Firestone radials on my 67 Corvette and love them! FWIW Tim |
If anyone swaps their redline bias plys for radials let me know, I'd love to buy your old set.
