Mecum 67 Z sold for $51.7K!
Wow, it’s been a long time since I have seen a 67 Z sell at this price. I know nothing about the car...

WOW!!!!
Anyone know anything about the car. Even NOM, that would be cheap if it is real and retains its original tag. Even more surprising for me: 1974 Mustang II, V6 auto brought $11,000 1978 Mercury Bobcat wagon (merc version of the Pinto) brought $12,650 Who would want one of either of those cars? |
I was the under bidder. It was a ok driver car that needed to be restored. No docs or history or other info I could find and after my Red RS/Z sold at Barrett in Jan. for in the mid 60s with history and Jerry's blessing I thought this was all the money for the car. I have a pic of the tag just dont kbow how to post it.

Thanks for sharing the info Quick Bow tie. I bought a non-running project Z in 2005 for $50k, so this price is really surprising.

WOW i wish i had bought that 67 Z good deal.

Mark, that's the car you briefly owned back in 2003 and sold to Dave Miner. Kim Howie bought it in 2007. It was sold new through Hult Chevrolet in Madison, WI.

It is #54 in the '67 Z-28 Registry.
