Today, met up with a handful of retired guys and their cars. One guy was a retired B52 pilot saw action in Vietnam. He was the original owner of the Red 2002. Very nice gentleman. Another fella, original owner of the Cortez silver 71 Vette, OG paint etc. Local Charlotte car from LaPointe Chevrolet...long gone now. Another guy, second owner of a 63 convertible, ps, pb, auto, air PG, Sebring Silver, blue leather, dealer installed Dayton wire wheels. Sharp car. Another guy had a very clean C5 roadster, and a late model 911 CS4...I think?? Good to be among other car guys finally!!

Providence Rd, Charlotte? Looks like my neck of the woods. Did you see the the 427 Cobra and the Ferrari 275 gtb barn find cars that were pulled out of a garage a couple years ago very close to the location of your car show?

Yea, we were at Eddies Too eating a late breakfast.
Yes, I can't tell you how many times I rode past that house on Queens Road East. I thought several times I should call the owner and see if they would sale me the house. Amazing story of what was in that garage. Jimlt4383, do you live in Charlotte now? |
Love that Peace decal. I need to get one of those for my Camaro.

2002s are a lot of fun. Slow and antiquated by today's standards, but a blast to drive.
I drove one for about a year while I was in law school, commuting 150 miles a day roundabout trip. |
----sixt9rsx33,,, No biggy, but blue interior was only offered in vinyl in the 63 production year. The only leather available ion 63 was saddle!.....Bill S
