OAI, I assume stands for Open Air Intake?

I think Al said these are replacements...I will check.

Here is the "Day 2" shifter.

Looks cool and felt good as the driver winched me up on the ramp:-)

Have to decide what to do here in future, find GM shiifter hump and repair the floor or keep it as Al modifies it? I think I will find/buy the metal out of a donor car so I have it:-)

The radio looks nice:-) The Bill of Sale says "rear antenna" but the GM Docs doesn't mention it and the car has a front antenna.

Al took the blank out of the dash to potentially put in a tach, I found the ring and the blank circular piece in a box, but didn't take a picture yet:-(

Wow-I love my car!!!!!! This is just like all the magazine articles I have read since I was about 12!!!

Looks like you hit the mother lode there Ryan!!!! To be new to Oldsmobiles and find a car like that with all the goodies is unheard of. You have good stuff, my friend. Like I said last night, take your time, do your homework, and don't get rid of ANYTHING. Some of your parts are like the Holy Grail.

Thanks again Dave.

I will get rid of zero items!!

She is full of goodies!!!! I have yet to post pictures of the boxed lower control arms and sway bar......the rear end inspection cover still has a little tag on one of the bolts like I see on the high dollar restorations:-)

I think you mean it "really" surprises me?

If so, it surprises me too, I was really cold on it the first time I saw it but as the status and the details of the car sank in we acted quickly:-)

Al said the car has 45K original miles (I asked if it was 145K) and the odometer shows 45K miles:-) he only drove it one full year and then four summers.

I may share a picture of the license plates............maybe not a good idea? But they are 1973 plates with a registration sticker of 1976:-) Oh Yeah!!!

I raced over to Al's house after work so we could go to the MTO together, my hope is to retain the original ownership document normally required to be kept by the MTO to register the car

We didn't succeed so we left without registering the vehicle to me and kept the document......need some ideas here!

As the car is not been registered in the computer era they can't provide a duplicate ownership document to Al, which we could use to hand in to MTO to transfer ownership
