"The Hugger" License Plate - 69 Camaro Promo?

I remember seeing one of these sell a few years ago for big money. Not sure if this one's authentic but it's a neat piece regardless.

Looking at the pics it looks like a sticker someone stuck on a piece of metal. Look at the holes in both pics.
