1966 Olds 442 Tri Power Convertible
4 Speed.
A good friend of mine has bought a 66 442 a couple of years ago. It is a original 4 speed, and has 3 deuces on a original manifold. The car was oiriginal tourquise, then repainted red, and was shipped to Germany in the early 90's. When he bought it it had a Edelbrock Manifold with a quad on it, and the tri manifold with carbs was in the trunk. He did not find any build sheet under the seats. Is there a way to find out that it is a real "Tri Carb"? He still has the old pink slip from California! |
What does the data plate show?

Hello.
No, not at this time. He had no time to make pics, and now we have that Corona B.S. here.. |
I had one several years ago. was a convert tripower 4 speed car. the guy who bought it looked it over real good and based on several different items determined it was the real deal. seems like there was a code on the cowl tag he said it had to have to be real. I didn't have a clue other than I bought it from the original owners family.

T on the tag if I remember correctly.
