Hi all-

Geof wanted me to post some pics of his current work in progress and as a way to introduce himself to the forum.

Here's what Geof has to say

Quote:

Hi Bruce,

I would like to post some pictures of my car in Member Rides, and introduce myself to the forum.

I have a 1969 Biscayne, fathom green, green interior. It was a 327 car, it is now date code correct 427, 4 speed muncie, 12 bolt rear. It is all original paint, 48,000 miles.

I don't have a whole lot of history on the car. I bought the car just outside of Indianapolis. I do have the build sheets on the car. I am just about done my big block conversion. It should be on the road this summer.
Thanks Geof

Welcome Geof, Great looking car. I love the B Body Cars. I hope you’re going to keep the original paint .

boomer50 04-01-2018 10:01 PM

Thanks for the welcome. I am going to keep the original paint. It has a few dents and dings, I think it gives the car character.

I am doing the same thing!! (Mine is really old paint not original)

I think the whole car will be more fun to lean on the fender and drive without worry.

Yes, I have a 66 Biscayne with original paint that has dings and small dents and I love driving it because you don’t have to worry about it like the trailer gueens. Is the body solid on your Biscayne?

boomer50 04-03-2018 02:37 PM

Thanks Bruce, earntaz, certainly seems like a great site.Ryan, do you have the B90 trim on your car? Dave, the body is really good, no rust at all, very light surface rust on the frame.

I remember when this car was for sale in the Indy area and I was very interested in it. I have a ZZ572/720R and that car would've made a fine home for it! Gotta admit though, I am absolutely not a fan of the B90 trim but to each his own. Great car though!
