My dad purchased this Corvette in mid 80’s from an engineer who modified to his taste . Started with low mileage (20,000) or so if I recall LS5 454 , tilt tele , leather , 4 speed ,a/c , power windows . The engineer bought ZL/1 flares and told the body shop he wanted to cut no corners installing , installed L/88 hood with complete breather set up , covered console with leather very tastefully . Just found pictures , thought he sold without taking any . My dad only kept car for a couple years but it was one of my favorites that you don’t forget . Car was about an hour from where we lived and I got to drive home when we went to pick up . He drove car regularly and took couple trips 5+ hour trips in car . I only drove the one time when we picked it up but what a ride for a 20ish year old car guy .
