Creepers

I have posted pics of my WWII era clawfoot "Jeepers Creeper" in a previous thread.
I ran across an auction item on the Public Surplus government auction site; two creepers at the Vo-Tech in Duncan, OK, about 90 minutes away. I have a buddy that lives right down the street, and he said he would pick them up for me, and bring to Guthrie next time he is up this way. His GF brought them by today. Minimum bid was $5 and I was the only bidder. I had to have the one, just because it says "Lynn's Auto Parts" on it. When am I ever going to find another? The other one is the next gen of the Jeepers Creeper. Took a little while to clean them up. They had been in the welding school, and were covered in soot. Lots of spark marks as well. |
Very cool!!

There was no way you could let that get away!

You couldn't go wrong for the money, lol. I have bought two like the one on the right over the last 5 years and although they don't go for much money, they have sentimental value for a lot of us as our dads used them for years.

I actually use the claw foot Jeepers Creeper.
I accidentally lowered a car onto one corner and broke one of the original cast iron wheels. I found out that Lisle doesn't make these wheels any longer, but found one on Ebay. Figured for five bucks, even if all I got was some spare wheel assemblies, I was way ahead of the game. The "Lynn's Auto Parts" creeper is going on the wall. |
As said very cool and no, you couldn’t go wrong on the cost.

Way cool Lynn!
