Recovery Winch

Does anyone here have an off-roading rig? What brand of recovery winch is the best? Warn or Smittybilt?

I have 3 warn and they are great! The synthetic rope and wireless systems are very cool.

I have a Super Winch in my trailer. Great product.

Yeah, a wireless controller would be VERY nice to have. The winch on my car trailer has a 10' cord. Not fun loading a non-runner by myself when I have to keep setting it down to move the steering to line it up.

I have a Warn winch and love it. Very dependable.

I have this one on my Jeep. Best value I could find for a waterproof one with synthetic rope, remote, and large 13,000 lb capacity.

I put a Smittybilt on my Expedition. The only thing I'd do differently is get the newer model that has the wireless remote. I have a Superwinch in my car trailer. They are both excellent winches. I know some folks like the synthetic rope, but I prefer the durability of braided cable.
