I have a soft spot for the old Corvette show cars. I worked for the VP of GM Design a few years ago, and one of the perks of the job was to “help” set up the old show cars at the various venues where we would display them from time to time. Got to drive a bunch of cool stuff - the Mako Shark concept, the Firebird I, etc. Felt very lucky to have that opportunity!

----Anybody notice the tiny metal wheels below the rear bumper? I have two great models of this Merc, but neither one has the little wheels,,,LOL! I guess so scraping can be avoided.....Bill S

Yeah the car is pretty low, cheap insurance. I did not know the car got restored a second time in 2015, what a killer custom.
