'59 Chevy Napco 4x4
Very cool truck although it's pretty rough. Dig the period Sun gauges. Being sold at a dealer so it's priced high - would be more fun if it were closer to $10k.

I love these 4x4 trucks and will own one... some day... lol

Doesn't look so rough to me; I would drive the hell out of that thing just as it sits.

Loved watching those divorced transfer cases swing in the breeze while they drove on the beach.....
|
Love that big Corporate front differential. Looks like Napco is stamped into the axle tube.
|
Put some Bilsteins and take it cross country!
|
Love the looks of that truck!!!!

I remember a few of these pre '60 Napcos when I lived in Yellowknife NWT late 70's, one a GMC Panel. Serious wilderness but I spent a lot of free time then exploring unknown trails into the bush by snowmobile/motorcycle which often led to old mine sites w/ vehicles/equipment/core samples abandoned years earlier and there was a Napco Carryall @ one location also a '49 Stude Truck sitting beside it. Here's the '57 Napco Promo clip on Youtube... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x5LYTkRjdno :beers: ~ Pete . |
