Bruce and I just posted the updated registries. 50+ 1969 COPOs added since last update. We're now up to 239 known 1969 COPOs with promises of 50+ more to come in! Also, lots of added info on other year cars. Thanks to everyone who is taking the time to help with the registry!!!!

Bruce posted the latest registry update yesterday - more cars &amp; more data. Thanks Bruce! I appreciate all of the input that the community has given to this effort. If anyone knows of real Supercars that aren't registered - please contact me.

Latest registry update was posted by Bruce yesterday. Lots more cars added &amp; cross referenced thanks to some great SYC members. If there are any more reliable lists (with car details) out there, please contribute your data to this effort. If you have a supercar that is not on the list - please register it! Thanks

Great news for our registry! Stefano got us in touch with Ed Cunneen and Ed has supplied us with the VIN list &amp; status of all Yenko Stingers. Bruce will be posting this list shortly. Also, updates of all the Supercars will be posted at the same time - lots of new entries!

Bruce (Xplantdad)posted the latest registry updates on Sunday. Check out the pictures that have been added to the 1969 Camaro registry. Many of these photos are courtesy of Myron (mrays). If you have any additional supercar pictures to contribute, please send them to me (bergy) for inclusion in our next registry update. Pictures of all models (Camaros, Chevelles, and Novas)are needed. Thanks!

Bruce will be posting the latest registry updates any day now.

Also, the Registry "book" is being printed. 130 plus pages including larger color pictures and the latest updates showing the cars that are still not found ("They are still out there"). Special ZL-1 and Yenko Camaro spreadsheets reconciling the delivering dealer and VIN errors that have cropped up over the years.

Well..I would have gotten it up tonight, but somehow I've lost the ability to edit the registry. I have notified Steve and Jody....and I am confident this issue will be fixed in the near future. I will try again tomorrow....

Bruce just posted the updated registry Supercar lists. There have been quite a few changes that have been requested over the past 6 months. Most of them have been minor updates regarding ownership history, documentation, certification, etc. There have been a few cars added. For those folks who have supplied documentation for requested changes, please look over your listing and make sure that the appropriate changes have been made. PM me if you have any concerns or questions.

When will the book be available? I'll take one of the hardback versions.

An X66 COPO which is NOT an early Yenko?

My PM box is log jammed. Where can we openly discuss this Camaro? Very curious as how it went from an X66 big block , possible NicKey Conversion to a 9561 COPO?

It’s not indicated as factory 9561 in the COPO column - only says "Nickey" in the left hand column. At the top of the "RPO" column, we indicate that dealer additions may be included. To the best of our knowledge, the car was converted to solid lifter 427. I think you're right though, I should take 9561 and L72 out of the RPO column for the car in question. I wish that we had more solid information of the Nickey converted supercars - hint, hint.

Sounds like you have the correct info. This Camaro is not an RPO 9561, L72 factory equipped vehicle.

It is Not included in the NicKey Registry as a certified Car. Based on Don Swiatek’s inspection, research and an affidavit from a long term owner, as well as vintage pictures, etc. it is believed to be a NicKey Chevrolet Shop Car.

As far as anyone needing info on any NicKey in our registry all they need to do is call or email and provide proof of ownership.

It would be a real service to the community if we could add the vins of cars that you can authenticate to the registry. Only you would know all of the details of conversion, but the community could be watchful for the cars with those vins - just like we watch for Yenko vins. Why not share them if they are available? Finding more of the great Nickey conversions would enhance visibility and grow the brand among collectors IMO.

We’ve had this discussion before, but might as well open it up to community input since PMs don’t work.

We has the same discussion regarding releasing the Yenko Vin and doing so has been a big plus. Not releasing is selfserving and not beneficial to the hobby. We are in fact looking to expand the registry to include solid lifter cars and other brands.
