69 Tire pressure decals - GREAT REPRODUCTIONS - ECS

posted this on CRG figured many here would appreciate the info as well.
69 Tire pressure decals have been a pet peeve of mine as none were on the correct material or had correct printing. IMHO - ECS has produced a great repro on the correct substrate -metalized paper - (beer bottle label stock) I ordered a few DX's (Z28, double COPO, and JL8 cars) and today based on the DX ordered a few DW's (SS). First photo is of the product I received. Second is their comparison of an original vs theirs vs what is typically available. |
Very nice. These are very hard to replicate mainly due to the paper. I have seen some REALLY bad aftermarket ones and have had a member reproduce me some really nice ones.

I am pleased to report that the DW is as nice as the DX...

ECS has some really good reproductions. I bought a door VIN decal for my 1971 ElCamino and complete set of VIN and tire pressure for my 84 z28.
Very happy with them. I saw at MCACN they had some of the inner door decals for 1969 Camaro window warranty stickers. Ones that say the 3 letter code for plant and 2 digit code for week. (LOS xx or NOR xx) The example they had was for a Firebird LOR. Its good to see they got these right, I will be ordering some. https://ecsauto.com/collections/gm-decals |
I had ECS do the reproduction labels for the IROC restoration. They are without a doubt one of the best.

Stupid question...
Why would the REAR occupants be reduced to 2 for bucket seats ? is that an error ? |

I don't understand why any company would create a "Reproduction" that doesn't look like the original and bring it to Market.... maybe because I'm such a picky bastard this is this is reason I create/make so many things myself! That sticker on the right is an absolute joke!

The original owner of my 67 ended up asking the original supplier for the tire pressure sticker. Based on the date I assume there were no re-pops. Sorry for the glare.
