That car was sold new in New Milford CT.

I have the original title to that car. It is a COPO but not a ZL1 car originally but after the original owner got beat racing it, he put a ZL1 engine in it.

Dave Arnold was the original owners name from Danbury, CT. He also owned a V/8 Vega.

A friend of mine bought that car around 1979 from him. I still have a few parts from it that were taken off early in life.

I had the original standard blue rear seat that was absolutely mint and drove down to Doraville GA around 1983 and gave the seat to Lamar Walden to put in ZL1 number 51. His car was one digit on the VIN earlier than my Byrne Bros COPO that I still own since 1976.

The picture of the car coming down the return lane was at Dover Dragstrip in Wingdale N.Y.

From FB

Dave Arnold sold the ZL1 to a local guy that put it in a 67 Chevelle, Storming Stovebolt. That owner was Butch Davis. Dave at one time owned A&S Speed Shop in Danbury.

I’m not seeing the cowl induction hole above the fuse box hole. Is it there?
