I'm trying to identify the application of this front shock. Anybody with a catalog that can identify it. #3197646

I checked my Each year Chevrolet parts catalogs from 1965-1980,and the nearest I can find is #3197636 front for 1964-67 Chevelle SS,and 1967 Impala,and also #3197643 front for 1963-66 Series 10-20 truck.
So it might be a B-O-P-Cadillac application.

I was looking for confirmation on the # but this is good enough. It should be close for my 67 442. The # does not come up in any of my Delco books even Canadian catalogues.

Shock #'s are difficult to pinpoint.The catalogs don't always reflect the actual number stamped on the shock itself,nor the shocks shipping box either.
I'd say you are extremely close,if not actually having the correct one right now for your car 67 Cutlass.
