Remember this "Billy Jack" scene?
|
I can't view the video via youtube at work but I assume it is the Corvette going into the lake/river. Such a shame.
|
Ha. Did not remember that.

The frame is probably still wet.

They were just cars. Nothing special about them. The movie came out in 1971 it's either a 68 or 69 427/390 automatic. Worth at the time what? Maybe $3000?
If you really want to see mayhem and destruction you need to see: Ifhttps://i.postimg.cc/sXgwtjRb/Gone-i...conds-1974.jpg |

If you really want to see mayhem and destruction you need to see: It's a 1969 (Stingray emblem, push down door handles) in Riverside Gold on Saddle. Striking car. Hope they fished it out ;) You're right about Halicki's Gone in 60 seconds Lee, it was absolute mayhem and it is still mind-boggling to this day how he pulled it all off. |
The part where he's looking back, notice the left door panel is removed. Probably took the door latch out for extra safety. I wonder what happened to the car?

Hey, can we borrow your car for a few shots in a movie?
I have friends that have loaned their Corvettes/cars for movies (mainly Dazed and Confused) and the vehicles are not treated well. |
