rattle can black
don't cringe
I know the Krylon industrial is a good match for semi flat 30%. Is there a good match for the 60% gloss in rattle can? it's for an ice cream run driver, with my furry son....it's not going anywhere NEAR MCACN Thanks! |
Chris,
The quanta system 5 paints are pretty good. but unless you want local convenience, you will need to wait for the brown truck to arrive. Also a comment for you on the quality of todays restorations. The best comment and observation was made by the Norwood ambassadors at MCACN: Quote: "All these cars that are restored,-- are so perfect we NEVER made quality anywhere near this level, these restorations are so perfect they are not original they are like works of art" Meaning: Rattle can quality is in many ways closer to factory quality than many would care to admit. https://www.gastanks.com/System-5-Fr...uctinfo/06-09/ |
Iv seen some pretty amazing rattle can work done. If prepped Correctly looks good and very easy touch up if anything gets scratched.

Brown Santa is on his way with the industrial Krylon for the inner fenders and firewall, but will need to paint the rad support to fender bars. I appreciate the help! |
----I have had great results from NAPA rattle can paint. They have a couple of variations of black. Buy them and try them out. Besides the sheen the best thing is that the nozzles almost never plug up, and are very easy to spray evenly. So many rattle can manufacturers today seem to have problems with their nozzles......Bill S

We use Crest AT-2 semi gloss at work and it matches a LOT of vehicles for sheen. Good product too.
