Pristine '68 396/375hp Camaro

I think my son and I spent at least 45 minutes poring over this car at last year's MCACN show. It's optioned almost identical to our '68 L78 project...talk about an inspiration to get our car done!

Bidding has already eclipsed $70k and I'm definitely curious to see what it will bring. Pretty strong money so far, by Ebay standards.

Check out the interesting double-stamp on the 12-bolt. First time I've ever seen the entire stamp redone.

Not sure it should have been restored, but it was. ;)

That was one of my favorite cars a MCACN.

No doubt beautiful now too but sounds like unrestored could've been even more special to many of us, sore spots and all.
Here's a link to JM's 05/12 Appraisal w/ pre-resto details, note it ends w/ total restoration recommended...

Man! After reading Jerry’s report I’d love to see pre restoration pics.

GOD it would have had to have been awfully bad for me to have restored the car...

What a great car. Must be scary quick with those 4:56’s but my favorite 68 at MCACN was the black Biscayne 427/425 with 1000 miles on it. I might be a little bias though.
