I think that is what you call a T-Bone.

maybe it says somewhere & i missed it but when was this wrecked ? looks as though it has a recent aluminum heater core & aftermarket booster ? and pull it apart to find it missing the blower fan blades ?

For the record.....subject car VIN 124379N661543

Not sure why the guy keeps harping about original paint on this car  At this point it's pretty irrelevant.

I'm sure there's a body man out there that can answer this. I thought when you repaired a wreck you first tried to pull the damage out on a frame rack best you could before cutting damaged parts? The video shows them cutting the A-pillar 1st.

I thought the same (I'm not a body guy). That cut seemed premature to me (and in the wrong place maybe?). Perhaps one of our resident body repair experts can chime in.

Why cut through the pillar? Why not separate the welds at the cowl and maybe save it?

D80 means it was built with a 'cowl' hood? "Mis-stamped" hidden VIN?

Yikes...

Painful to watch the guy beat the crap out of that A-pillar 'stub' with the sledgehammer. I agree that it ought to have been pulled first.

Seeing the upper dash condition makes it clear just how tweaked this car is.
