Looking for installer of 4 post lift in nj

Can anyone recommend a company who specializes in 4 post lifts sales and installs in nj. I’m in central New Jersey. Thanks. Jeff

Jeff, they are not difficult to install if you are handy. Two people and the right tools is best as some of the parts are heavy.

Agree, they are fairly straight forward to put together with common hand tools. I've done several by myself, but components are heavy and the last one I did, I just paid someone to install it and save my back.

You might want to call the place where you purchased the lift and ask if they have any installers in your area. I bought a lift from Greg Smith Supply and they recommended an installer who picked up the lift at their warehouse, brought it to my location and installed it expertly in a couple of hours.

Sherri and I installed two in one afternoon. I had never done one before.

Did you guys bolt them to the floor?

Lynn 07-20-2021 01:56 AM

I did not. Floor was level enough it wasn't required.

I bolted mine down due to my garage floor slope

Two or 3 guys with a front end loader works well. :) I bolted mine down as well even though slope was minimal.

About six years ago our Saturday group ordered three and we set them up at three different houses in one day. By the time we got the to the last one it only took two hours. We built mine in my driveway and rolled it into the garage.
