AMC Muscle Car Collector
Greetings,
I stumbled on to this Forum in search of a differential oil cooler for one of the Breedlove AMX's that I am working on. Of course the name "Supercar Registry" sounds way too cool for me not to join up anyway. Two of my personal cars carry the name Super Car which just adds to the fun. I have a Hurst SC/Rambler as well as a Hornet SC/360 where the "SC" actually does stand for Super Car. This is my SC/Rambler: https://www.motortrend.com/vehicle-g...st-sc-rambler/ Here is the list of my cars in various states of ill repair. 1962 M422 AMC Mighty Mite – Rolling Restore fun! 1967 Rambler Rogue Convert – Needs total restore 1968 AMX 343/5spd – Smashed, needs fixed. 1969 Rambler American 290 auto. needs total restore 1969 AMX 290/4spd – Needs total restore 1969 AMX 390/Auto – Needs restored again.. 1969 Hurst SC/Rambler – Needs LOTS of TLC. 1969 Javelin – Driving & Storing it for my Daughter 1970 AMX 360/4spd - Daily Driver 1970 Rebel Machine – Needs resurrected 1971 Hornet SC/360 – 75% Restored. 1974 AMC Wheel Horse Garden Tractor - |

I bought the raggety old red '69 AMX in 1974. It was my High School car. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...98c86f45_c.jpgIMG_3082 by Rick Jones, on Flickr |
Fantastic collection and Thank You so much for joining, many of us on here are huge 'not-so-closet' AMC fans.
THE MCACN Nash Nutz AMC display is amazing if you've never been. Or perhaps you have already been part of it? |
Thanks again! This is my newest addition to the collection. Most of the time I buy complete junk to build a car out of but for once this one is all there. It looks better than it is but it is drivable for the most part. This rounds out my collection of the 2-seater AMX sports cars that were built from 1968 through 1970. This one is a 1970 AMX with a 360 4-speed. They made a total of 4,116 AMX's in 1970 and they made 836 with the 360 4 speed. Kinda too much red for me but getting used to it.

I am planning on putting a rear adjustable wing on it witch was a dealer installed option. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...d3c26f81_c.jpgIMG_5071 by Rick Jones, on Flickr |
