R.I.P. Bob Cardillo (camarocards)

I just wanted to let the forum know that Bob Cardillo passed away yesterday. He recently created some brake hose stencils for my 70Z project and I sent him a photo showing him the awesome results last night....his wife responded with the news this morning.

In the short time I dealt with him, he took extra time to recreate labels and tags for my project that in many cases, had very little economic viability...but he did it because he loved the hobby. Rest in Peace my friend and my prayers are with you and your family.

Oh no! He recently made me a stencil for the CY trans tag and did a great job and would also not accept payment. Very sorry to hear this. Definitely one of the good guys.

I got some great looking PF25 filters he just started making. Seemed like a really great guy and was genuinely interested in my feedback as to the quality. Rest in Peace, Bob. Lay rubber on the way to the pearly gates!

I’m in shock! Bob and I became friends thru my 68Z restoration. I talked to him about a week ago and he told me he was too weak to work on his restoration and I told him I would help him. The week before he had walked his daughter down the isle and we discussed that and he told me he had two aims to walk her down the isle and finish his 68. I told him we can get it done and several of us were lining up to work on his car. Even talked to Bergy (Bruce) Sunday if he could help. Bob helped me finish the table of contents for my build thread with the links. I only knew him for five or six years but he was a great person and I considered him a good friend. RIP Bob!
