6 Attachment(s)
1970 Chevrolet Camaro NHRA Stock Eliminator race car (Baldwin Motion Clone). This car has a 402 CID – 375 HP engine that is rated at 400 horsepower by NHRA coupled to a Metric 200 automatic transmission and a Strange twelve bolt GM rear end housing. NHRA classifies this car as a natural “B” car and can move up or down one class by adding weight or taking out weight, so it can run: A/SA, B/SA, or C/SA with this engine combination.
This car has run in the 9 second range in the 1/4 mile and is very competitive. It has all the latest technology that is allowed by NHRA and the chassis is certified to run as fast as 8.50 in the quarter mile. The last machine work on the engine was done by Brian Tilburg of Tilburg Race Engines located in Pennsylvania. $79,500.00 I have a lot more pictures available along with more information on all aspects of this car and I can be PM'd on this website. The front wheels are Mickey Thompson, which they don't make any longer and the rears are Billet Specialties, hope that helps. GM |
