- Retiring-
After 39 years and 7 months I will be separating from General Motors. They offered a “package” and I took it.
Last day in the office was February 7th; there will be a period of transition and then I will morph into retirement after that. I’ll need to find something to do in order to keep the lights on at home but haven’t picked a new direction yet. K |
Congrats. I retired at 51. I love to work at nothing all day, lol.
There’s a great coffee shop across from M1 on Woodward. Wen it warms up, bring your car, I’ll buy you a coffee. |
The little donut shop there at the railroad tracks?

Keith, I retired January 1 after 40 years in the insurance business, I'm in my early 60's. I'm transitioning my customers to another fellow, but the transition has been uneasy for me. After 40 years of working 40 plus hours per week and bringing home a pay check, it's a very strange feeling not going into work. Keep us posted on how it is going for you.

Congrats Keith! Now you have no excuse for not joining us at MCACN, as you are way overdue.
And if you want to work, we pay next to nothing and work you like a dog for countless hours! Bashton MCACN Managing Member www.mcacn.com |
Congrats! Find something you enjoy to do...………...you'll find its not work at all. I had spent 35 years in the automotive parts business. I retired last year @ 50. I'm on the verge of doing something I always wanted to.
Great days are ahead for ya! Tim |
Congratulations!!

Big Congrats Keith! Have fun - keep busy! (I'm gittin' real close too)
