'70 Z/28 Rotisserie Resto
Gorgeous car and very nice restoration all around. Deck stamp and trim tag look somewhat unconventional to me. Thoughts?

Pad is re-stamped...no question I have a photo of another verified 06D Norwood 70Z trim tag and I don't see anything that would cause me to scream "fake", although the seam sealer filled rivets was an LA thing..not Norwood.. The car is pretty and probably well-built, but was not done correctly if someone is concerned about details.

VIN shouldn't shouldn't be on the front pad. Rear end is dated July 7th but TT is 06D. Not impossible, but highly unusual. Really nice looking car though and seems to run quite well. 2nd generation Camaros finally climbing in value.

I saw that yesterday. I have a deck stamp a week from it and nothing similar.

Too bad, I really liked it. Reminds of my older brothers car he had in 74!

Nice car. Has issues stated in posts. Never liked the high rear spoiler. Short style looked great IMO.

I have never seen an '8' like that on any GM VIN pad stamping

I noticed those 2 things also and wondered about them. Not being knowledgeable enough to feel comfortable calling them out, I'm glad others see them as questionable. On the figure 8 stamp, I think I have seen that on much newer models. |
