RIP Mark Meekins, My Condolences to the Family.
I personally met him a few times at the NCOA shows in 1985 at Warren Michigan and then again in 1990 at Columbus Ohio. Great man for the hobby in those early years way before the internet. Some of you may remember Mark Meekins as the Founder of the National Chevelle Owners Association, with his Chevelle Report monthly Magazine in the 80's into the 90's and a great yearly show he put together. Lets have him in our prayers or thoughts ! https://www.cumbyfuneral.com/tribute...ns#tributewall |

Sad news but thanks for letting us all know. RIP also thoughts/prayers for Mark's family and many friends. . |
----Mark was a great guy and really liked Red Alert. I made the trek to the Showdown one year (all the way from Cape Cod) and was treated really well all weekend by Mark and everyone else!....Bill S

Here a link to a tribute page for Mark, which has a video with a lot of pictures:
https://www.cumbyfuneral.com/tribute...ns#tributewall There are some great photos in the video. If you knew Mark, it is well worth your time to watch. Also, below is a pic of a plaque that was presented to Mark back at the 1991 Chevelle Showdown. The sentiment engraved below the picture says it all. THANK YOU, Mark. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bailey, Mason, Spencer, Kaye, and Mark's grandkids. Rest in peace, Mark. |
