Original '67 Camaro RS/SS, Stock Eliminator Build
Needs some work but overall a pretty cool ride with a Jerico 4-speed and vertical gate shifter. Someone will have a lot of fun with this one....

A “good” Stock Eliminator engine costs about what this car’s asking price is.

Agree...and it's been relisted again, in the link below....

This car would such a great project to make it more "Vintage" in appearance, especially under-hood, tire/wheels, raise front end a tad etc. Would be a killer street machine!

I have had quite a few people reach out to me wanting the low down on this car. I would buy it in a heartbeat, and should, if I didn’t have so many undone projects and room. I could easily sell some of my rides to come up with the scratch ( I think?). Another car I will kick myself over.
The car is an honest, decent car. Just about turn key for a cruise in sans the spool and slicks...heck, I’d drive it with the slicks, why not? The guy has owned 42 years. It’s solid, it’s straight, it is not replete with repop junk. An all GM except for the speed equip. With some high $$ trimmings, like a race carb and Jericho box. Decent race car quality red lacquer that has held up well. Did not crawl all under or over because I was not putting and green down. But what I did see, like the underside at the rear, looked good, original and solid. Still has the gas tank and check out the Harrison 4 core! That impressed me. Sweet sounding pro built 283. It won’t last. Buyer will either have a big smile ‘cause he made a bargain buy or hang his head in shame cause he stole it. The bad- half 1/4s hung on in the 80s. Some filler where antenna filled and 1/4 hung, just starting to pucker. Hardly noticeable. I think outer heater box has some hacking, shock towers bad, a traverse bar has been added and shocks relocated ( not really a bad thing, but should be noted) I think back seat is missing. There nuff said. |
