Marlin, I'd delete that image and repost with a clear watermark on the face of that document...

Yeah. Much like 99.9% of all customers who walked into Yenko Chevrolet to buy a car he was propositioned to upgrade to something that would increase Yenko's sales margins. He declined...twice. Does that make it one of the non-converted cars, no.

The reason I asked for thoughts was I felt like the OO was not aware of the supercar conversion until it was offered to him as an add on. Just because it was offered doesn't mean that it was originally intended to be one before his purchase.

“I always knew about the 69 Novas from Yenko and how special they were,” he said.

The value of the car has not been precisely determined, but Patrick estimates that it is worth anywhere from $250,000 to $1 million. Because the car has been off the streets since 1978 and has only one owner, it may have a higher value.

“I may be undervaluing it,” Patrick said. “There is a big following now for these original cars.”

Just as was with the Black w/gold stripe LS6 from Pennsylvania, both this and the Z16 were known by a few quite some time ago before Patrick did the story. I have photos of the car I received from a good friend almost 2 years ago and I talked to the owner of the Z16 almost a year ago. He did the stories on them but he did not actually find them. Still very cool stories to release to the public.

Two separate discussions, Rick. One is him not being honest about being the one to "discover" a car and the other is of him projecting false information on a car. One is criminal in court of law if he tries to sell it as such, isn't it?
