Triple Black '70 #s 402/4-sp Monte Carlo
I'd rather have this than a '70 454...way cool to see the factory manual trans AND big-block in a first gen Monte.

No interior shots and at $49900. The market must be going crazy.

Owned that car and sold in Feb 0f 2020 . Good driving car with an older refinish .

Is that really the correct orientation of the air cleaner snorkel?

i have never seen any monte command serious money. they have always been the red headed stepchild.

very rare to see a 4sp in one and they don't even show the interior ? Contes was never like that.

Its very hard to pull any real money on 2 cars in my experience. A First Gen Monte and a First Gen Cougar.
Both can be very fun cars and can be had (usually) at reasonable prices. The BB 402 (they've never proven a 454SS 4speed) 4 speed is about as rare and valued as they get. I had one in Black Cherry, 402/4spd that was probably the nicest restored car that I have ever owned. I was lucky to pull 35k out of it. https://i.imgur.com/AO1k5yD.jpg /Rich |
