'69 Corvette Survivor, Gorgeous, Estate Find

Mostly original paint, just a #s 300hp 350 with a Turbo 400 but what a nice cruiser this would be.

Aren't they the wrong valve covers for a 300 horse car? I thought they got the standard painted steel covers.

----Yes, they are incorrect! Once again, no tilt column. I can't even get in a 69-up without tilt...….Bill S

Nice car, the correct wheel cover is called PO2 and is different from what is on the car. They mention the PO6 cover and that was not offered on the Corvette. The PO2 has a center cap that protrudes out more.

This car is kind of local to me. I have looked at it twice already and talked the seller both times via phone as he was not on site when I stopped. Nice to see the under hood pics as was not able to see in person. Nice survivor for sure, but the auto trans kind of kills it...………...unless he loosens up on his bottom line $

Thats right. The wheel covers on the auction car are the optional covers that came on the Impala.

When I looked at the car the 2nd time he pulled the goldlines and wheel covers and had a set of rally wheels (not original to the car) and cheapie white letter radials on it.

Just trying to educate myself...the style of the wheel cover is correct, but the version used on Corvettes have a heavier center cap protrusion like Tim described? The covers on the subject Corvette, would be used on Impalas. Would these also be the covers used on Monte Carlos of that era, too?

The bottom line is this is a very nice entry level car for someone that wants to get into the hobby with a car they can be proud of. The 300 horse with an M40 would be a good combination.
