Have you been out in the garage in the morning for a quick peek before work. O the excitement of a new toy! </div></div>

I would have put a heater in the garage and settled in with a cot and sleeping bag. Even in this cold. What a cool purchase.

Keep the pix coming.

I will kill you guys with pictures......so much fun.

It never surprises me that people looked at this car and passed...what were they thinking, or expecting? How many miles show on the speedo?

To be new to Oldsmobiles and find a car like that with all the goodies is unheard of. You have good stuff, my friend. Like I said last night, take your time, do your homework, and don't get rid of ANYTHING. Some of your parts are like the Holy Grail. </div></div>

Thanks again Dave.

I will get rid of zero items!!

She is full of goodies!!!! I have yet to post pictures of the boxed lower control arms and sway bar......the rear end inspection cover still has a little tag on one of the bolts like I see on the high dollar restorations:-)

I think you mean it &quot;really&quot; surprises me?

If so, it surprises me too, I was really cold on it the first time I saw it but as the status and the details of the car sank in we acted quickly:-)

Al said the car has 45K original miles (I asked if it was 145K) and the odometer shows 45K miles:-) he only drove it one full year and then four summers.

I may share a picture of the license plates............maybe not a good idea? But they are 1973 plates with a registration sticker of 1976:-) Oh Yeah!!!

Bingo on the 1111930 dizzy also 7029255 carb too Ryan!
Nice bumper scoops too but where's that pair of original air system hoses Al had bought and stashed aside?
Again that shifter box was key to this whole thing coming together and my first learning that this car even existed.
More to the story, Al used to race snowmobiles and I asked about the shifter a few years back when at their old place buying his '73 racing sled.
My ears went up when he mentioned W31 and of course my next question was if it happened to be a 2 Door Post!
Tough to see the spare engine #'s in the pic, can you note and relay them please also did you check the balancer &amp; extra Muncie #'s yet too?

I will get you the numbers soon, trying to get as many part numbers as I can before I freeze to death! The hood used up some precious time tonight!

The hoses are in the back seat safe and sound

The extra trans and balancer numbers will be easy to get to tomorrow!

Ryan

The spare Muncie looks like it may be 64/65, did Al happen to mention if it came w/ the extra Olds engine?
Again the crank being pilot drilled, that extra engine may be something cool too so looking forward to more!
Keep it coming Ryan!

More to come!!

Yes the extra transmission came with the extra engine in the car.

If I use steel wool I will find out what the stamp is on the extra engine as well, tough to read.

Very cool and rare car. As others said welcome to the world of Oldsmobile. My dad always said you meet the nicest people in an Olds.
