cbaker6297 08-16-2018 12:30 AM

More photos would help especially of the engine

A12pilot 08-16-2018 02:37 AM

Cripes! Nice one! Man... if I had the space this would be headed to me. It's a no brainer at that price. A fender tag photo too would be helpful! I sent this to a buddy a mine, so hope it may help you sell it.

Cheers
Dave

Here is a eng pic car had a six pac installed in the 70,s but will come with orig a single 4 bbl.

A12pilot 08-16-2018 06:37 PM

Interesting pic, and wonder about clearance on that aircleaner. Hemi cars, 440-6 cars required the J25 3spd wiper option for air cleaner clearance. Obviously in 69, only the A12s had the 440-6 engine option. But starting in 70 you could get it in other makes and models. Wonder if he had to notch the base plate?

Also, did he remove the fender tag? I see the resto screw holes where it should be but no tag:frown:

Cheers

I believe the r/t cars all had 3 spd wipers iam told......fender tag is MIA....orig owner has it somewhere along with orig trunk mat column shift lever ,this car was owned by lets say a" hoarder" and was one of those cars that was never forsale.....u guys know the story as theres one in every town....lol

A12pilot 08-16-2018 07:42 PM

Understood. The 3spd wiper was optional, not standard, on R/Ts. A nice car but harder to sell without that tag unless he has a Broadcast Sheet or Monroney Label with it. Good luck with the sale on it!

Cheers
Dave

Lucky i guess these cars tell in the vin that its a real 440 r/t the fender tag only tells the options and since its a unrestored car iam sure someone will reconigize its a great deal.....thanks

A12pilot 08-17-2018 03:01 PM

Yep. It's a real-deal R/T, and that's a pretty good deal!! I'd throw it on Moparts too. Probably be gone in an hour!

Cheers
Dave

I get it. Sold some parts recently, and the real buyers, buy. The other guys ask a dozen questions, and pictures over a 3 day dance that they do, for what?
