Help! 1970 Yenko Duece Nova picture needed
If anyone out there owns a 1970 Yenko Deuce Nova with the three spoke sport steering wheel, and would like to participate in a Camaro Research Group steering wheel report, please let me know.
Basically I need a good high resolution picture of the steering wheel in a straight on position to use in the report as a comparison shot to the Camaro steering wheels. Thanks in advance Ed Bertrand Camaro Research Group |

FYI the 3 spoke wheel in a Deuce was not a GM option on Novas, COPO or otherwise. It was a dealer add-on through Yenko, simply because Don liked the look of them. Its only factory application was on a 1970 Buick GSX. In comparison to the camaro/chevelle sport steering wheel the GSX rim is thicker, has a different grain texture, and no stainless band on the outside or fingergrips molded on the back.

Here's the only pic you really need to see the obvious differences.

Re: Help! 1970 Yenko Duece Nova picture needed
Joe, yes I did know this wheel was only installed from the factory in the GSX, but I also need to show that it was installed in the Nova by Yenko. The main problem though, is that I also need permission from the photographer to use the picture in the report, so that's why I'm looking for someone that actually owns a 70 Yenko Deuce Nova AND a 1970 Buick GSX so they can take the picture. I've got several picture from the internet, but none I can use because of the permission problem. Which is too bad really because a few of the ones I found on the internet are great shots!
I like that second shot of the comparison. I'm assuming it's a picture taken by you? Would it be possible to use it in the report? Bruce, I'm not sure what your reply means. Thanks again guys. Ed |

The first pic is the wheel in my Yenko... sorry, I don't own any Buicks. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif I took both pics... feel free to use either. -Joe
Here's another I found, you can use it too. https://www.yenko.net/attachments/357629-ebay133.jpg |

Thanks a ton Joe. I will definately use that comparison shot in the report. I think I have a line on the 70 GSX picture, so I'll finally be done!! It's only taken a year!!

Thanks Bruce. Now I see what you mean.
I DID get a picture from Jim Lore over at the Buick site, so I'm FINALLY done!!!! It's been a long time writing this thing, but I'm hoping it'll be worth it. It'll take a few weeks to go through the CRG screening process, but once that's done, it'll be posted. Stay tuned... Ed |
