Trim tag -- good laugh
Look at the trim tag being advertised with this 69 Camaro -- good laugh

Re: Trim tag -- good laugh
I think a guy on TC answered the riddle.
That could be the color the car is painted now, and that label was for future reference. Makes sense if 38M is a valid 1981 Honda paint code. Seller says he has since removed the stickers. |
Re: Trim tag -- good laugh
It may make sense for the little dab of Green below the painted over sticker
G-38M-S Muscat Green Metallic --- Honda Paint Code |
Re: Trim tag -- good laugh
R-38M Tudor Red Met. C/C Accord, Prelude, Civic 79-81

Re: Trim tag -- good laugh
I have no idea about Hondas, nor do I have any idea what Tudor Red Metallic looks like, but that would be my guess.

Re: Trim tag -- good laugh
Why is the year missing from the top line? The body # is 12467_NOR333002.

Re: Trim tag -- good laugh
It's not missing,it's just shown differently from the VIN plate, which was typical.
It's only reflected in the beginning as ST 69. I've yet to see a "real" trim tag from that period showing the model year after the bodystyle number and before the plant abbreviation,as you indicated too. |
