Speedometer Cable 1588291 CC75
 

I have a speedometer cable new in the box and I am trying to find out the application. The box is dated 1969 and the part number is AC Delco CC75 1588291. Any idea??? Mr70, do you know.

Jonesy I have a few of these later issued 67-1/2" cables that went by the superceded number of 6478128.
Your number was originally intended for 1965-68 Corvette-Impala series,but later adopted for ALL Chevrolet vehicles by 1969.
My number was entered into the system sometime around mid 1970's.

Thanks for the info, so would this be for a manual trans car or automatic?? OR is it just a universal 67 1/2" cable?

I bought it for my 67 z/28, but I am not so sure if that is the correct application.

For a vehicle in your year,it would've been considered universal.
