After watching that commercial, I can easily see why GM is on the verge of bankruptcy. Looks like something the 6th grade Drama Class came up with.

What they should have done is have a commercial showing a GM exec standing at a podium, and using a slide show, talk about "Famous Bad Decisions in American History". They could show the guy that invented New Coke in the 1980's, the famous Sony Beta VCR, Bill Clinton talking about how NAFTA will help the economy, Michael Jackson holding his baby over a railing, etc. Then show a picture of the guys responsible for killing off the Z/28 and Trans Am back in 2002. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

No Z28 for 2010. Convert is on Delay as of now.

The commercial looks like hi-quality homebrew to me.

It's labeled "spec" - and is an odd length. Likely used only as a sample for those who made it.

I'll be surprised if the market sees the new Camaro at all.

At this point in time, 422 optional horsepower is just something for the other automakers to point out as GM building what the market doesn't need. How about a turbo 4 that gets over 25 mixed MPG? Or hybrid...?

As much fun as this car could be, the car is doomed by both market circumstances and economic conditions.

LOL! That's funny.

Hey, while they're upping the hp, why don't they update the specs on that new Hummer pickup truck that I've been seeing commercials for. Hey, who makes that? Oh yeah, that's right-- GM. The same company that now wants a bailout with our money while they continue to make and market b.s. products...

...who now has a brand-new car coming to the market that just had the horsepower adjusted to 430! Seems right on time, and par for the course.
