Re: Vegas Yenko or Motion
I have 2 Vegas. I have a 1972 Yenko Vega Wagon, i think it is the only one known to exist. I would be glad to get you some pictures. I also have Rick Smith's 72 Smokey Yunick Turbo Vega, only one known to exist stored at my garage. The front end and engine comparments are the same. The rear ends are different since mine is a wagon with Yenko installed traction bars, like it needed them, right. The cool thing is that i have a BRAND NEW Schwitzer turbo that is soon to be installed.

What exactly you needing, Jeff? We happen to have the original rear out from under our Yenko Vega, I believe with the original shocks & such still attached...

Re: Vegas Yenko or Motion
I need pictures of the engine as installed by either Yenko or Motion. If the engine is out, pictures of any upgrades to the suspention/frame area. Same with the interior if there were any upgrades to the dash, IE Gauges/Tach mountined areas. As for the rear end I need pictures of the mounts and how if any traction bars were installed.
Rob, do you know if Yenko went with a certain gear ratio for the Vegas? Mahalo guys |

Here's some stuff that may be of help... all the following pics were taken at Yenko Chevrolet circa 1971.
