Re: South Carolina Tri-Centennial Limited Edition
I remember going to the tri-centennial parade in Charleston in 1970. I'm sure that I took pictures of the parade cars, but not sure where they are now. I had just gottten my first camera and was 7 years old at the time.

If you're referring to Chevelles, they ordered 454's too. Can you find out where they are getting the "1 of 50" from, and possibly confirm the receiving dealership, date assembled, job seq.#,body #,bypass codes, ordered options, special gold paint code & VIN too,(via email),if possible. It is important to these unique vehicles. I have been researching these for awhile,& would appreciate anymore input you can add to their recipes. Thank You. Rick |
Re: South Carolina Tri-Centennial Limited Edition
Someone I know has one of these cars that he is currently restoring. It is a tuxedo black LS6 parade car.. Very Cool car... He has been wanting my friend and I to come over and check the car out.. I guess it was in VGC when he started the resto with very low miles.. When I go check it out and if he lets me take pictures, I'll post some on the site here and try to obtain more info on these cars.. I know his is the "real deal" and I think he has all kinds of documentation for the car as well...
