Extracting My Next Project Car
The day finally came where we pulled this '69 Kingswood out of the weeds!

Re: Extracting My Next Project Car
It started to snow when the skid-loader arrived.
http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180022.jpg The tires sunk into the ground about 6 inches! http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180023.jpg Slid the roll-back under the wagon, next the skid-loader was used to knock down some of the brush covering the front end. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180024.jpg The car is now moving, but none of the wheels are turning. That tree next to the front door actually helped guide the car straight up onto the deck. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180025.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180026.jpg The hood fell off, not worth taking anyway. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180027.jpg The brush hid this side of the car so well, I didn't know about the damaged rear door. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180028.jpg It's up there, now we have to take it back to my buddy's farm. Back at the farm. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180056.jpg Nothing (except the floor) fell off the car during the 6 mile trip here. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180051.jpg The right side floor fell down onto the deck of the rollback. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180052.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180053.jpg B9 http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180054.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180057.jpg This is the only door that will open. It's a 9 passenger wagon, and my son LOVES third row seat wagons! http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180058.jpg All kidding aside, this thing is very rusty, I doubt if I fix it. When I'm able to dig into it, that will tell the story! |
Re: Extracting My Next Project Car
The folks that own the farm where this car was, and some others, are clearing out all of the junkers and sending them to the scrap yard, as they need some cash.
Here's a few others.... http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180029.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180030.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180031.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180032.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180033.jpg Vega seats? The mate was nearby. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180034.jpg There are countless hub caps and wheels everywhere! http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/P1180035.jpg Continued.... |

Re: Extracting My Next Project Car
Too bad they waited and didn't do this 6 months ago. They would of doubled their money on scrap.
